Computer Training :

The Computer Training Cell has been formed to impart training to the Officials from the various Wings of the Municipal Corporation. The Training Cell is currently engaged in providing trianing to the corporation employees on various topics such as : Computer Fundamentals, Office Automation, Networking, Internet Operations etc... . The Computer Training Cell has already trained more than Eighty Employees from the varios wings of the Municipal Corporation. The Training Cell is now in process of providing training to the Senior Officers on Internet & e-Governance.

Software Development :

The I.T. Department of the Municipal Corporation looks after the Software and Web Development work of the Corporation. The Department has made Softwares for the different Wings of the Corporation and is in process of Developing Softwares, their Maintenance and Upgradation as required by various Wings of the Corporation.The List of Softwares Developed by the I.T. Department of the Corporation are:

	Internal Messaging System (An Application Software for Sending & Receiving Messages withing the Local Netowrk Environment)
	Payroll Monitoring System (An Application Software for Generating Computerized Payslips and keeping all the Record of Salary of the Employees)
	Coupons Management System (An Application Software for keeping the record of the stalls used during the Festivals & Generating Customised Reports for the same)
	City Information System (A Web Based Application which keeps track of the City Residential Details with customised Reports)
	Management Information System (A Web Based Application which keeps track of all the useful Information realted to the workings of the Corporation and much more realted features )
	Pension & Provident Fund Management System (An Application Software that keeping the record of all the Pensioners getting Pension and Provident Fund)

The I.T. Department also looks after the Softwares Developed by the National Information Centre (N.I.C.) and the Centre for Computational Engineering (C.C.E.).The List of such Softwares Developed by N.I.C. and C.C.E. for the Municipal Corporation are:

	Personal Management Information System (PMIS)
	Space Booking System (SBS)
	Complaint Monitoring System (CMS)
	City Information and Mapping System (CIMS)

Networking & Internet :

All the Computers in the Corporation are connected to each other forming a Local Area Network. The benifit of which is easy accessability between all the Computers of the Corporation. The Internet Facility has been provided to the Senior Officers of the Corporation by the I.T. Department of the Municipal Corporation.

The Local Area Network of the Municipal Corporation has been linked with the U.T. Secretariat and the D.C. Office on the Optical Fiber Backbone with High Speed Internet Connectivity over the Leased Line.

Computer Training

Computer Training Cell :

The Computer Training Cell was inaugurated by Hon'able Commissioner Sh. M.P. Singh. The Training Cell was formed to impart training to the Staff Members of the Corporation.The Training Cell is currently engaged in providing trianing to the corporation employees on various topics such as : Computer Fundamentals, Office Automation, Networking, Internet Operations etc... The Computer Training helps in improving the Efficency of the employees and it also helps them in learning the Lastest Technology. The Computer Training Cell has already trained more than Sixty Employees from the varios wings of the Municipal Corporation. The Training Cell is also providing training to the Senior Officers of the Corporation on Internet & e-Governance. Sh. T.P.S. Phoolka, PCS(Joint Commissioner) is the Training Incharge.
