| Paid Parking |

The Paid Parking of the Municipal Corporation is under the control of Sh. Sunil Bhatia, Additional Commissioner-I is assisted by S.D.E. HQ. The paid parkings are given only lease of the period of one year which can be extended upto 3 years by way of auction. Parking passes are issued yearly, half yearly, quarterly and monthly for the users of these paid parking areas and the money receved is equally distributed between the contractors as per their allotment. Free parking passes are issued to the employees of Chandigarh Administration and Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh as decided by the Authority. |
PAID PARKING AREAS :- 26 Nos. New Paid Parking Areas Preparing of agendas for approval of F&CC, publishing of auction Notices preparing of application forms, technical/price bids and terms & conditions of allotment, auction of Paid Parking Areas, collection of security & ground rent and releasing of security and printing of parking slips cards & passes etc.
2. TAXI STANDS :- 60 nos. Preparing of agendas for approval of F&CC publishing of auction Notice, preparing of application forms, technical/price bid and terms & conditions of allotment, draw of lot collection of ground rent and releasing of security etc. and printing of parking slips cards and passes.
3.CABLE OPERATORS :- Collection of round rent from cable operators.
